The City of New Orleans now offers an option to expedite the permitting process through third-party plan review. This review includes structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, and accessibility compliance for your project.

Municipal plan review timelines can be lengthy. To help keep projects moving forward, we offer an optional, supplemental pathway for obtaining ICC-required plan reviews and addressing review comments directly with our team, in coordination with your project’s architect.

Please note: under no circumstances does a third-party ICC plan review replace or supersede City zoning review. All projects should anticipate a separate and independent zoning review by the City for every application.

Additionally, the City reserves the right to re-review any plan review work we perform, at the sole discretion of the Building Official.
