Ted Kelso

Ted leads ZSCD’s Owner Representation practice, advising institutional, developer, and public-sector clients across the New Orleans region. He brings over a decade of experience delivering high-impact commercial projects from predevelopment through closeout, blending owner’s-rep leadership with capital strategy, construction oversight, and hands-on entitlement execution.
Ted has overseen more than $30M in commercial development across hospitality, food and beverage, and mixed-use projects, including restaurants, bars, retail, and amenity spaces. He works comfortably across the full range of an owner’s responsibilities, including capital strategy, regulatory navigation, and construction oversight, and brings clarity and accountability to every phase of a project. Ted holds a Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University’s Johnson College of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College.
